Mission Statement: It is the mission of the Colorado Chapters of APCO/NENA representing a combined membership and commitment, to show support for Colorado's public safety communications and for professionalism and excellence in customer service by public safety communication professionals. Through its work the chapters carry out the mission by identifying issues and providing solutions; by providing appropriate training to enhance professionalism and integrity from within the profession.
Congratulations to the Telecommunicator Award winners! Also congratulations to the all the nominees. The decisions were very difficult. A big thank you to Denver PD for hosting the meeting and Carl Simpson for all the work setting up for the meeting. Another thanks to Positron for sponsoring the lunch.

Colorado APCO was sadden to learn of the passing of two Elbert County Dispatchers on March 16, 2008 in a motor vehicle accident. Todd Sielaff, Dispatch Shift Supervisor, was a member of the Colorado Chapter of APCO. Richard (Joe) Rockwell, Dispatcher, was also killed in this accident. Below are three links.
