Business Discussed:

1. Jacki with 911 Solutions had volunteered to work on putting the Data tracking and check on a Grant for the Data tracking.

 

2. Need to have a 5-year goal – Plan of Action by the November meeting.  That would include Agencies involved, Providers, Instructors, and Standardized Training, Other resources for Grant Monies.

 

3. Need to set up classes out of the Metro area and utilize the 4 Quadrants that have been set up, from the survey. It was suggested that the classes need to be posted on the Yahoo Groups & NENA Website & APCO newsletter.

  

4. All agencies need to get the list of Instructors and Providers to Jacki @ 911 Solutions, Inc. The database that has been started consists of the following information.

State assigned number, First Middle Last Name, Title, Organization Name, Address, City, State, Postal Code, work number, fax number, email address, date updated, provider status, date trained, date recert due, membership type, date recert completed.

5. Semtac meeting Mike Merrill and Chuck Vale attended this meeting. No progress was mentioned.  Mike suggested to the committee to do the 5-yr. plan of action letter,

 

6. New start on database, we won’t be going back and recreating, from the minutes in Steamboat the committee will start new.

 

7. Reference Cards (Protocol Cards) updates.  EMD Associates did a Disk updated 2000

Aurora Revised 1/2002 (Modified from state).  Jeffco revised 2/2000.

Routt County Communications revised 1999 or 2000.

Copies of cards by EMD Associates and Aurora and Jeffco were handed out to those agencies that wanted a copy.  If you need a copy please send e-mail to Marian at Aurora and Cindy at Jeffco, and Sharon for Routt County.

 

8. Plan of action – Liability Issue – Liability Concerns using still using EMD associates cards, protocol in place.  It was discussed that as long as agencies don’t deviate from they’re set cards or that as long as your physician adviser has reviewed them.

 

9. Reminder that Cindy Cline has a mailing list of the Colorado PSAPS.

 

10. A subcommittee will develop report w/ the data about cost analysis to be available at the next July 24th Semtac meeting.

 

11. It was decided to do a Cost Analysis for EMD, Mike Merrill, Millie Miller,

Jaci Louise, Pam Monsees, Sheryl Lopez, Kim Archuletta, Sharon Clever will put together information to be presented to Semtac Committee.

 

12. Ronald Rose, who is a volunteer with Boulder County Sheriff, helps with public information. He advised that the EMD committee could look at the Boulder site, he said that we could maybe add some information about it had some 9-1-1 EMD information on it.   Also it was talked about going to local radio stations with information. – The committee decided that we wouldn’t go public with information.

 

Next Scheduled meeting will be held. July 19 @1300 hrs @ Denver Paramedics located off Josephine Street. Semtac subcommittee meets July 24 and Semtac Council meets July 25.
